The Grange
Cookie policy

Draft. This is placeholder wording to put the page in place — replace with text reviewed against your actual data practices (a free ICO template or a solicitor is the safe route) before launch.
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We keep ours to a minimum and ask permission before setting anything that isn't strictly necessary.
What we use
- Consent preference (strictly necessary). When you choose Accept or Reject on our cookie banner, we store that choice so we don't keep asking. This one doesn't need consent because it only remembers your consent decision.
- Visit statistics (no cookies). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites — so it needs no consent.
- Advertising attribution (only with consent). If you accept, we store a first-party cookie that records which advert or link brought you to us, so we can tell which marketing actually works. It isn't shared with advertisers and sets nothing until you accept.
Your choice
Use the banner's Accept or Reject when you arrive. To change your mind later, clear this site's cookies in your browser and the banner will appear again. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect the site's functionality.
